1.  It is applicable to produce or process spur gear, helical gear, worm gear and sprocket in batch or piece unit.

 Y3116 gear hobbing machine has a structure that a large column is fixed, while the work table conduct feed motion along the guideway of the bed. Tool post and sliding plate conduct feed motion along large column. The machine consists of the following parts: bed, large column, work table, transmission case, main tool post, vertical lifting slide carriage, rear column, cooling device, hydraulic device, electric control system, attached components.

1. Bed

Bed of the machine is made of high-quality casting iron and with its guideway width of 770 mm and single guide of 120mm. the surface of guideway is treated with high frequency quenching and grinding process. The large column and work table are set on the bed. there is a hydraulic oil tank below the bed. The hydraulic device is set behind the bed of the machine.

2. Large column

The large column is set and fix on the bed. There is a counterbalance, balance tool post and sliding plate inside the column. The column is made of high quality casting iron with its inside well-arranged reinforced plate, which ensured the stability of the column.

3. Work table

The work table adopts cones for workpiece setting which ensured its high precision and operational stability. Indexing worm adopts  precise gear hobbing machine with α=15° pressure angle for processing which ensured its high precision and roughness.

4. Transmission case

The transmission case set at lower section of the column which is one of a main output device with the outstanding features of short transmission chain and high transmission efficiency. The transmission case is equipped with spindle speed selecting mechanism and differential mechanism for the selection of hobbing speed.

5. Lifting sliding plate

The lifting sliding plate conducts vertical motion along the column guideway which plays a role in connection between column and tool post. Tool post rotate around the sliding plate to complete the processing of left-right hands spiral gear.

6. Tool post

Main post set on lifting sliding plate which can make a rotation of ±60°angle which can meet the requirements of processing spur or helical gears. The tool post also equipped with 5 specifications of hob arbor: 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm for installation of different specification hob arbor and for the processing of different modulus gear. Material of hob arbor is 40Cr.

7. Hydraulic elements of the machine use domestic famous brand; Bearings are manufactured by Hawaluo bearing Co., Ltd.

8. Safety protection device of this machine meets the requirements of safety protection technology of JB110139-1999 type gear hobbing machine.
